Old School vs New School Fun Comp

A twist‑packed bouldering showdown blending classic technique with modern comp flair. Expect teamwork, creativity and a few surprises waiting in the wings.

This event brings two climbing worlds together: traditional movement rooted in precision and tension, and dynamic, coordination‑driven comp climbing.

Across four hours, teams will take on 24 blocs graded V0–V8, with every send contributing to one shared score.

It’s friendly, strategic and perfect for sharpening skills ahead of Team Boulder Arena 5.

Build Your Duo

Choose Your Climbing Partner

Teams are made of two climbers, any mix, any level, any style. Bring your partner‑in‑crime or pair up with someone who climbs completely differently to you.

Flying Solo?

Tick “no partner” when booking and we’ll match you on the day. It’s quick, easy and a fun way to jump straight into the event vibe with a brand‑new teammate.

What You’ll Face

Two Styles. Two Worlds. One Challenge.

Old School brings the tension, the footwork, the precision, the kind of climbing that rewards control and craft.

New School throws you into dynamic movement, jumps, coordination and paddle‑powered chaos.

Together, they create a comp that keeps you guessing from the first bloc to the last.

Lifelines: Your Secret Weapons

Each team receives one use of each lifeline. Once activated, it’s gone, so timing matters. Coaches will be on hand throughout the event.

👊 Crux Support Hold
Use the marked extra hold on one climb to soften the crux.

🧙 Coach’s Beta Boost
Pick a coach to give detailed beta and help unlock a problem.

🧑‍🚀 Coach Climbs For You
Choose a coach to attempt a climb on your behalf. If they send it, it counts.

A fourth mystery twist will be revealed during the comp.
