Whether your child wants to have fun on the wall, work towards a climbing award or enjoy climbing together as a family, there’s a session to suit. Check each programme for the right age group, centre and available dates.
Play, climb and make friends. Fun, instructor-led bouldering sessions for children of different abilities.
Building One: Marmosets 4–6 and Little Rockers 7–10. London Fields and Tottenham Hale: Little Rockers 6–9 and Rockers 10–17.
Structured progress, new skills and confidence. A nationally recognised programme for young climbers, with advertised age groups 7–10 and 11+.
For the autumn term until Christmas 2026, Level 1 runs at Building One and Tottenham Hale, not London Fields this half-term. Other levels and future-term availability require confirmation.
Learn to climb safely together. A 60-minute instructor-led session for parents and carers learning how to supervise children at a bouldering wall.

Instructor-led classes have their own age groups and consent requirements. For a family climbing visit outside a class, check the supervision rules for your chosen gym, including adult-to-child ratios and whether adults may climb at the same time.

Rockers Club offers fun, flexible instructor-led climbing sessions. NICAS is a structured programme with award levels, progress assessments and courses booked by term.
Building One advertises Marmosets for ages 4–6. At London Fields and Tottenham Hale, Little Rockers is advertised from age 6. Check the age requirements in the relevant booking page before choosing.
The former weekly Building One Rockers 11+ club has stopped. Children aged 11+ are directed towards NICAS Level 1, with places and terms subject to confirmation.
Yes, subject to the age-based supervision rules at your centre. Adult supervisors must meet the gym’s registration and safety-check requirements. See Climbing with Children and our Family Introduction Sessions for guidance.
